Being Sued to Court Regarding Investment Cases, Ustaz Yusuf Mansur is Actually Happy

Kapanlagi.com - Entering 2022, Ustaz Yusuf Mansur must face a heavy trial. People who have invested joint funds for various business programs have emerged and sued him in the Tangerang District Court with different lawsuit files.

"Bismillaah walhamdulillaah. There are 3 lawsuits. The 1st Lawsuit I Hearing, January 5, 2002. The 2nd Lawsuit I Hearing, January 6, 2022. And the 3rd Lawsuit I Hearing, January 18, 2022. All in the Tangerang City District Court. InshaAllah. All the materials are generally the same," said Ustaz Yusuf Mansur in his written statement, Thursday, January 6, 2022.

According to the founder of Pondok Pesantren Daarul Quran, this is not the first time he has faced the same case. He even referred to the people who sued him as a 'group'.

"Yes, this group has been too kind to me. They have given me many opportunities to learn in many aspects. Alhamdulillah. It has been relatively for years. And they have also reported it to various police stations, criminally. Until then, they filed a civil lawsuit in the Tangerang City District Court last year in 2020," he said.

1. Glad to be taken to the legal path

The man who has various business ventures through this joint business method, admits that he doesn't mind, the group he refers to is taking legal action.

He considers it better than writing negative comments about him on social media.

"I actually like it when it's taken to the legal path. Whether it's the police or the court. Just be professional. So it's clear. Because on Socmed, everything becomes arguments, and it becomes ammunition for new content. Hehehe," he said.

2. Handing it over to the lawyer

In facing the case that entangles him at the Tangerang District Court, Yusuf Mansur hands everything over to his lawyer.

"All the court proceedings, I am represented by a team of lawyers. They are professional, trustworthy, calm, cool, not emotional, experienced, and don't like publicity, hehehe. Not flirtatious, hahaha. They don't like to appear in the media and socmed to perform and seek fame. Alhamdulillah. So, they can maintain a conducive atmosphere before, during, and after the trial," he said.

Five Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) in Hong Kong sued Ustaz Yusuf Mansur in the Tangerang District Court regarding land savings investments. The five lawsuits are divided into two files.

For the case file on behalf of the plaintiffs Sri Sukarsi and Marsiti. The first hearing has been held at the Tangerang District Court, Banten, on Tuesday (5/1/2021).

"There are two cases, there are five victims who have given power of attorney to us, today's hearing is the first hearing for two victims regarding land savings investments," said Asfa Davy Bya, the legal counsel for the plaintiffs, after the trial.

4. Offered While in Hong Kong

Asfa said that his client received an offer for land savings investments when Yusuf Mansur was in Hong Kong. At that time, the ustaz, who is familiarly known as UYM, gave a lecture to Indonesian congregants who worked in Hong Kong.

"At that time, in 2014, UYM gave a lecture in Hong Kong and offered land savings investments. Five people were interested, two of whom have a hearing today, and the other three will have their first hearing next Tuesday," said Asfa.

5. Demanding Promises

In addition, in the lawsuit, Sri Sukarsi and Marsiti also demand the promised profits from the capital invested since 2014.

"What we are suing for is the profit-sharing money, the charity money. We also want to know what the investment money from 2014 was used for? What is the land fund? That's what we want to know," he said.
