Losing Tens of Millions, Mothers Who Claim to be Victims of Ustaz Yusuf Mansur's Investment Visit MUI

Kapanlagi.com - A number of mothers from various regions who claim to be victims of Ustaz Yusuf Mansur's investment visited the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) office on Wednesday (5/1/2021). They came to report the actions of Yusuf Mansur, which are considered detrimental to many people in various businesses.

"Alhamdulillah, we were represented by those who have been mediating for us, namely from the 5 Pilar Foundation, Mr. Darso, Mr. Ustaz Tabrani, and others. MUI did not promise to arrange a meeting with Yusuf Mansur because he just arrived today," said Helwa, a former Indonesian migrant worker from Surabaya, at the MUI office in Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/1/2022).

"Our visit here is to find a solution to the program of Mr. Yusuf Mansur, which we have not received our rights for a long time," Helwa continued.

Helwa also hopes that MUI can pay more attention to the case that has befallen her and her colleagues. "We want MUI to at least monitor what Yusuf Mansur has been saying about investments or other businesses that have greatly harmed all of us," added Helwa.

1. Participating in Hotel Development in Yogyakarta

Helwa is involved in a joint investment with Ustaz Yusuf Mansur, starting from PT Veritra Sentosa Internasional (VSI) or known as Paytren, to a joint venture in the development of a hotel in Yogyakarta. In addition, Helwa is also an active donor in the Hajj Tourism program, which is also carried out by Ustaz Yusuf Mansur.

"Actually, I have been a donor since 2010 for the active donor of Hajj Tourism by Yusuf Mansur. I started joining the Condotel hotel joint venture program since 2013," she said.

2. Losses of Tens of Millions

As a result of participating in Yusuf Mansur's investment program, Helwa revealed that she has suffered losses of almost 60 million Rupiah. Until now, Helwa admits that not a single Rupiah has been returned by Yusuf Mansur.

"My personal loss is almost 60 million and until now, not a single penny has been returned since 2013-2014, not even a single percent," she said.

Helwa's interest in participating in Yusuf Mansur's investment program is because it has a mission to revive the Islamic community's economy in Indonesia. Not alone, Helwa also invited nearly a thousand people to join the program offered.

"I think there were almost a thousand people who joined, because we had a mission to follow Ustadz Yusuf Mansur in reviving the Islamic community's economy in Indonesia," she said.

4. Lack of Clarity

Meanwhile, Surati, who also claimed to be a victim of investment with Yusuf Mansur, feels disappointed because Yusuf Mansur claims to have never received any money from her. However, Surati herself has evidence regarding her participation in the fund-saving investment program.

"I am very hurt by Yusuf Mansur's statement that he said he did not receive a penny from TKW (migrant workers). But this is evidence, the name is Ustaz Yusuf Mansur, where I participated in the fund-saving investment and there are many other TKW friends who have no clarity at all until now, we all have evidence," said Surati.

5. Unfulfilled Promise

Surati then added that what made her heartbroken was that the promises made by Ustaz Yusuf Mansur were never fulfilled.

"What makes me upset is what is conveyed, what is promised is never fulfilled. From that investment, Ustadz Yusuf Mansur promised assets, profit sharing, but in reality, there is none," she concluded.
