After Being Declared a Suspect, Medina Zein Reports Back to Marissya Icha for Alleged Defamation of Character

Kapanlagi.com - Medina Zein has been named a suspect in a report by Marissa Icha regarding a case of alleged defamation. In response to this, the celebrity influencer and entrepreneur said that she didn't want to bother with her status.

Instead, Lukman Azhari's wife filed a counter-report against Marissa Icha for alleged defamation with report number LP/B/64/1/2022/SPKT POLDA METRO JAYA, dated January 5, 2022.

The alleged defamation began when Medina was nominated as one of the top 50 women in Indonesia. Medina's camp suspected that Marissa had indirectly criticized Medina by claiming that the nomination was obtained through bribery.

"It started from a post on Instagram by the accused, Ms. MI, around December 2021, mentioning the achievements of the complainant," said Medina Zein's lawyer, Djamalluddin Koedoeboen, at the Metro Jaya Regional Police on Wednesday (5/1/2022).

Djamalluddin then added that Marissa Icha had accused his client of bribery.

"In this case, our client in the post said that the award received by our client was full of bribes, in other words, shooting or bribery," added Djamalluddin.

2. Fake Ring for Fuji

Apparently, the report is also related to Marissa Icha's accusation that Medina gave a fake ring to the late Bibi Ardiansyah's sister, Fuji.

"The reporter gave a gift of a ring to sister F, the late Bibi's sister, who is the accused, and then posted on Instagram, mocking the reporter or our client with the phrase 'ntar postingan jga nih video diamond palsu'", said Djamalluddin.

3. Prohibited from Going Abroad

Not only that, Djamalludin mentioned that Marisya Icha also accused Medina of being prohibited from traveling abroad by the immigration authorities.

"I think those are some of the things we conveyed, oh yes, one more thing, a caption quote from the defendant mentioning the name or initials of the complainant MZ who is our client, the words 'Yes, let's go to the US, but someone wants to go to the USA, that's MZ, instead of wanting to seek medical treatment in the USA, but the visa and passport have already been banned by immigration, can't go abroad until the matter with me is resolved, poor thing, wants to flee abroad, how embarrassing'," Djamalludin concluded.

4. Material Loss

In response to Marissa Icha's accusations, Medina admitted to experiencing material losses. In fact, Medina stated that her business was affected by the defamation committed by Marissa.

"There are a lot of material losses, many of my businesses have been affected by this matter," concluded Medina Zein.

5. Beginning of the Feud

Marissa Icha reported Medina Zein to the Jakarta Metro Police with allegations of defamation on September 13, 2021. The feud between the two began when Marissa Icha appeared on social media accusing Medina Zein of selling fake bags and demanding the return of her money.

Medina Zein responded to Marissa Icha's accusations with hurtful words, according to Marissa Icha, insulting her family and children. Therefore, Marissa Icha reported the incident to the Jakarta Metro Police.
