Komnas PA States Doddy Sudrajat's Accusations Regarding Gala Sky Exploitation Are Unproven - Custody Remains with Haji Faisal

Kapanlagi.com - The National Commission for Child Protection (Komnas PA), today, Thursday (6/1), visited the residence of the late Vanessa Angel and Bibi Adriansyah in the Srengseng area, West Jakarta. This was based on Doddy Sudrajat's report alleging that his granddaughter, Gala Sky, had been exploited by his own son-in-law.

Therefore, to verify the allegations made by Vanessa Angel's father, Doddy Sudrajat, Komnas PA decided to come and see for themselves the condition of Gala Sky Adriansyah. After doing so, it turns out that Doddy Sudrajat's complaints are unfounded.

"After seeing it firsthand, we can say that Gala is very happy," said Arist Merdeka Sirait, a representative of Komnas PA.

1. Gala is Doing Fine

Arist also mentioned that during his visit, he saw that Gala was doing fine and growing happily under the care of Aunt Ardiansyah's family. This was evident from Gala's gestures during the visit, and Arist believed that what Doddy Sudrajat complained about never happened.

"Based on our experience, usually when a child is surrounded by many people, they tend to behave differently. They cry or something. But not Gala. Instead, Gala interacted with us," said Arist Merdeka Sirait.

"I conclude that Gala is in a good condition. Gala is cheerful and does not experience any violence. Gala greets everyone," he said.

2. Family Must Support

After directly checking Gala Sky's condition at his residence in Srengseng, West Jakarta, on Thursday afternoon (6/1), Komnas PA concluded that Gala is in a good condition under the care of Aunt Ardiansyah's family. Therefore, Komnas PA finally suggested that Gala should continue to stay in his current environment.

"Let Gala grow and develop in a happy situation. Mr. Doddy, Mr. Faisal, and the family must support this," said Arist Merdeka Sirait.

3. Requesting Family to Respect Komnas PA Recommendation

Of course, Arist also requested both family sides to respect the Komnas PA recommendation regarding Gala's upbringing. Not only that, Arist also urged both families to set aside their egos for Gala's well-being, including the issue of access to meet Gala for Vanessa Angel's family.

"We recommend where Gala is happy and comfortable. So, let's support it. Including specifically from close family," he said.

4. Not Restricting Access

"This is their grandchild. There is no reason not to love their grandchild, so later Mr. Faisal can apply for guardianship. So, access to Mr. Doddy should remain open," he continued.

In addition, Arist also does not allow a scheduled time division for both families to meet Gala. Because the guardianship of the child of the late Vanessa Angel and Uncle Adriansyah must be done together.

5. Take Care of Gala Together

"So for example, 3 days at Mr. Doddy's place, then 3 days at Mr. Faisal's place. It's not like that. So we still do joint guardianship, because Gala is an orphan," he said.
