Facts about Laksmi De-Neefe, the First Balinese Woman to Represent Indonesia in Miss Universe, Her Beauty is Universally Recognized

Laksmi was born in Ubud, Bali, on January 26, 1996. She will soon celebrate her 27th birthday. 

His father is Ketut Suardana, who is originally from Bali. While his mother is from Australia, namely Janet De-Neefe.

Laksmi is not only beautiful but also intelligent. From her profile on Linkedin, she is an alumni of Fashion Business at Polimoda, Italy. Laksmi then continued her education in Australia. She obtained a Diploma of Arts from Monash College and also pursued education at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Laksmi turns out to have made a cameo appearance in the Hollywood film EAT PRAY LOVE starring Julia Roberts. The film was partly shot at Laksmi's family restaurant in Bali.

Laksmi's family is the founder of the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival, which has now become one of the largest literary festivals in Southeast Asia.

Laksmi is also an activist at Unicef Voice of Youth since 2019. She has also joined the Bali Children Foundation to teach English to children.

Laksmi became the representative of Bali in the Puteri Indonesia event after winning the Puteri Bali 2022 audition. Now, after becoming the champion of Puteri Indonesia 2022, Laksmi represents Indonesia in Miss Universe. She is the first representative from Bali in this prestigious international event.
