Fajar Sadboy Now Becomes Happyboy, No Longer Worries About His Rezeki Being Tight

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian and content creator Fajar Labatjo has decided to leave behind the "Sadboy" image that has been attached to him. Amid the popularity of that nickname, the man from Gorontalo has chosen to introduce a new persona as "Happyboy" in his career journey in the entertainment industry.

This change was revealed by Fajar when he met KapanLagi in the Tebet area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/7/2026). Although the "Sadboy" identity has elevated his name in social media and the entertainment world, he feels it is now time to show a different, happier side of himself.

Fajar explained that the decision to change his image is not just about following trends or seeking sensation. According to him, the change comes because he is currently much happier than before.

"Why change to Happyboy? Because now I look happy, you know," said Fajar.

1. The Influence That Becomes Happiness

The 19-year-old man revealed that the happiness he feels is also influenced by his collaboration with a brand. Nevertheless, he emphasized that the change of nickname does not make him worried about losing his job or the fans who have known him as Sadboy.

Fajar chooses to leave matters of sustenance to God. For him, an image is just part of a career journey, while the opportunity to work comes from the Almighty.

"Fajar is like a dawn, not a sunset. Fajar is the rising sun, not the setting sun. Although it may set, it's just getting late at this hour," he said.

2. Confident It Won't Affect Job Opportunities

He then reaffirmed his belief that the change of image will not affect the job opportunities that come to him. Fajar admitted he has never been afraid of losing his job because he believes everyone has their own sustenance.

"All work comes from God, I won't be afraid," he continued.

3. Just an Identity in Public

Furthermore, Fajar considers the nicknames Sadboy and Happyboy to be just identities in public. What is most important for him right now is to continue creating and to survive in the entertainment industry by accepting various jobs that align with his abilities and principles.

"The most important thing is how to survive moving forward. I will keep working, accepting any offers that are suitable," he said.

4. Taking a Break

In the midst of his busy schedule, Fajar also revealed that he is enjoying his break after finishing the filming of a stripping soap opera. However, he assures that he already has plans for a new project that will be undertaken soon.

"There will be a movie coming up, please pray for me," Fajar concluded.
