Family Reveals the Chronology of Jimmy Gideon's Death, Fell and Injured His Head

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Jimmy Gideon passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at around 20:00 WIB at the age of 58. The comedian, whose birth name is Abdul Aziz, was buried on Monday (27/12/2021) at TPU Bojong Nangka, Tangerang. Prior to his passing, his wife, Ana Hasanah, stated that her husband was in good health.

"He wasn't sick. Just two days before, he had a cough. But that might be because he smoked too much," said Ana Hasanah at TPU Bojong Nangka, Tangerang, on Monday (17/12/2021).

According to Ana Hasanah, Jimmy did have a history of diabetes. However, Ana believes that the disease was not the cause of her husband's passing.

"He did have diabetes, but it didn't affect him," she said.

Ana Hasanah continued, before Jimmy Gideon passed away, he had fallen in his room in the afternoon.

"He fell during Maghrib, and by Isya, he was no longer there. So he took another shower and put on clothes, then fell forward. He fell in the room, not in the bathroom," she said.

1. Head Injury

As a result of falling, Jimmy Gideon's right forehead swelled and bled. At the time of the incident, Ana was waiting for her children to come home. Before being taken to the hospital, Jimmy Gideon had already taken his last breath.

"Swelling on the right forehead and bleeding. He (the deceased) looked stunned, his eyes were open, but he didn't speak. After that, I called my younger sister," said Ana.

"When he went back to the room, his voice sounded like snoring. Not long after, he fell asleep, and he was gone," she explained.

According to observations, Jimmy's body, which was brought by an ambulance, arrived at TPU Bojong Nangka at 12:58 PM accompanied by mourners. Several celebrity friends such as H. Komar, Derry Sudarisman, Ginanjar, and Eman were present at the funeral.

During the burial process, Jimmy's son descended into the grave to accompany his father's body to its final resting place.

The recitation of the Adhan and Iqamah could be heard from inside the grave before the red soil covered the deceased's body. After the comedian's grave was covered with soil, the family performed a flower scattering ceremony, followed by prayers.

3. Family Accompanies the Deceased to the Final Resting Place

During the funeral procession, Ana Nurhasanah, the wife of Jimmy Gideon, was seen among the mourners. She and their five children appeared strong as they accompanied Jimmy Gideon to his final resting place. 

Jimmy Gideon became known to many people after starring in the comedy soap opera Gara-Gara with Lydia Kandou in the 1990s. Jimmy Gideon was part of the comedy group Gideon along with Sion Gideon and Habil Gideon.

4. Passing Away

The name Jimmy itself comes from his childhood nickname. He was called that because his face resembled that of the President of the United States, Jimmy Carter.

Jimmy Gideon passed away at the age of 58. The comedian leaves behind a wife, Ana Hasanah, and 5 children, Roberto, Alberto, Zela, Lumberto, and Limverto.
