Famous for Heartbreak Songs, Tiara Andini Reveals Not Changing Genre When Releasing 'Ngeluwihi'

Youthful singer Tiara Andini releases a single titled in Javanese called Ngeluwihi. Unlike her previous songs that were pop ballads causing collective heartbreak, this new work is similar to the song Flip It Up with an upbeat tempo and complete with choreography. Tiara explains that this change does not mean she is changing her already well-known music genre. The girl from Jember only wants to explore and bring freshness to the listeners.

"I'm not changing genres, I just want to add more genres. Because I already have quite a lot of pop ballad songs, here I just want to explore, you know," Tiara explained when met at FX Sudirman, Tanah Abang area, Wednesday (24/1/2024).

"Because I see that people's moods are not just sad. There must be happiness, anger," she continued.

Regarding her latest single titled Ngeluwihi, Tiara Andini admitted that the lyrics are intended for haters. She doesn't turn a blind eye to the fact that besides fans, her social media is also flooded with comments from haters that sometimes hurt her feelings.

Ngeluwihi itu dari bahasa Jawa yang artinya melebihi. Di sini aku menyampaikan keluh kesah dari komentar haters yang kadang mau aku A, mau B, mau C, tapi kenyataanya aku lebih dari itu," kata Tiara.

Ngeluwihi diungkap sebagai karya yang personal bagi Tiara Andini. Ia berharap penikmat musik bisa menerima eksplorasinya dalam bermusik.

"Semoga semuanya bisa menikmati lagu aku yang terbaru. Karena lagu ini aku buat jujur dengan hati aku," tandas penyanyi berusia 22 tahun tersebut.

"Seharusnya karena ini dari hari, harusnya bagus banget," lanjutnya.
