Fariz RM Arrested Again for Drugs, Police Say the Musician Has Been Using for a Year

Kapanlagi.com - Senior musician Fariz RM is once again in legal trouble due to a drug case. This is the fourth time he has been arrested for the abuse of illegal substances.

In this case, the police also secured an individual with the initials ADK who acted as a messenger to buy drugs. ADK received a payment of Rp100 to Rp200 thousand from Fariz RM each time a transaction was made.

"From the examination results, it is due to family problems. Something like that," said the Head of the Narcotics Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Telly Areska Putra, on Thursday (20/2/2025).

1. Used Since the Last Year

Based on the examination results, Fariz RM is known to have resumed using drugs since the last year. "As for this time, from the confession, from the examination results just a year ago," added Telly Areska.

On the same occasion, Fariz RM expressed his apologies to his wife and child. He also hopes that the legal process he is undergoing can proceed smoothly.

"I ask for the prayers of all my friends so that the legal process for the violations I committed can go smoothly, easily, and safely, insya Allah amen," said Fariz RM.

2. Trying to Stop but Failing

The musician known for his hit songs admitted that he has been trying to stop using drugs every time he gets into trouble. However, the pressures of life and popularity have caused him to fall back into it.

"Of course (I regret it), because it has happened many times. Every time a case is resolved, I definitely stop. Maybe the pressures from popularity become a burden that makes me slip again," concluded Fariz RM.
