Father-in-Law of Arzeti Bilbina Passes Away, Buried with Military Honors

Kapanlagi.com - The father-in-law of artist Arzeti Bilbina, retired Lieutenant General H. Bachrul Ulum, was buried with military honors at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery on Monday, January 31, 2022. H. Bachrul Ulum's body arrived at around 09:45 AM.

In addition to Arzeti and her husband, Aditya Setiawan, family members and friends also accompanied H. Bachrul Ulum to his final resting place.

During the occasion, Arzeti Bilbina was deeply saddened, even shedding tears as she looked at her father-in-law's grave and photo. Likewise, her husband, Aditya, could not hide his sadness. He was seen wiping his tears several times while accompanying his father to the burial site.

1. Thank You Speech

Before being buried, Aditya gave a speech. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude to the mourners who had accompanied his father to his final resting place.

"Alhamdulillah, today our family has accompanied our father to his final resting place. We express our sincere thanks for the honor given to our father, the best honor for the best soldier," said Aditya at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery on Monday (31/1/2022).

"Thank you to all parties who have supported us, and on behalf of the family, we apologize for any mistakes made by the late father, whether intentional or unintentional, whether subtle or rough, in deeds or words. Farewell to our father, we believe the old soldier never dies," he continued.

2. Passed Away at the Age of 78

The military funeral ceremony was completed around 10:25 AM. After the burial, both the family of Arzeti Bilbina and Aditya immediately scattered and poured water on their father's grave.

H. Bachrul Ulum passed away on Sunday (30/1/2022) at Tlogorejo Hospital, Semarang, at the age of 78. Arzeti explained that before taking his last breath, his father-in-law had attended a military event.

3. Attended the Event

"Speaking of illness, the chronology is that my father actually had an event with the military commander on Thursday. So during the event, my father suddenly collapsed while holding the microphone, unconscious and his pulse disappeared. Everyone said Allahu Akbar, the military commander hugged him and suddenly he regained consciousness, Alhamdulillah," said Arzeti.

4. Taken to the Hospital

Then, after the incident, H. Bachrul Ulum was immediately taken to a hospital in Semarang.

"Then taken to the military hospital in Semarang, Alhamdulillah he was accompanied there, the military commander also gave attention," he said.

5. Immediately Returned to Semarang

Aditya added that when he received news that his father was unconscious, he immediately decided to go to Semarang to see his father's condition.

"So after we went to the hospital, it turned out that my father was still unconscious, he contacted me, Zeti, and my mother, and we decided to go to Semarang," said Aditya.

"At the last moment, our family also wanted to give the best, the best treatment, the best effort, but Allah determines it, we sincerely let go of the deceased to get the best in the sight of Allah SWT," Aditya concluded.
