Father of Virzha Passed Away at the Age of 69, Had Experienced Kidney Failure

Deep sorrow envelops singer Virzha after his father, Rudianto, passed away on Friday afternoon. The deceased took his last breath in a hospital after struggling with complications from his illness.

"Actually, there were many health issues but I can't really tell them one by one because it's too complicated. What’s certain is that my father had four sudden attacks that were quite severe. And in the end, he passed away at the age of 69," said Virzha when met at the funeral home in Bintaro, Tanggerang, on Friday (22/5/2026).

Virzha explained that his father passed away right after the Friday prayer ended. This news certainly shocked relatives and friends who knew the deceased during his lifetime. "Yes, earlier this afternoon, more precisely at 13:28, he took his last breath," said Virzha.

Rudianto's health condition deteriorated drastically due to a physical impact from a fall some time ago. Virzha mentioned that kidney failure was the main cause of his father's life not being saved.

"I did take him to the hospital for a while. He was frequently taken to the hospital, and there were also outpatient treatments. He had some issues because he fell and hit himself. But for sure, in the end, my father had kidney failure. Kidney failure meant he could not be saved anymore," he explained.

The treatment process has been ongoing intensively both through inpatient and outpatient care at the hospital. However, fate had other plans when the late Rudianto's physical condition suddenly dropped the previous afternoon.

"He was hospitalized yesterday for about a week, then outpatient treatment for another week. Then because he dropped again, he was brought back yesterday afternoon until this morning, eh until earlier this afternoon at the hospital," said the singer of the song 'Aku Lelakimu'.

The body of the late Rudianto was immediately taken to the funeral home in the Bintaro area to be laid to rest properly. Dozens of mourners continued to arrive to pay their last respects and support the bereaved family.

Virzha appears to be trying to stay strong even though deep sadness is clearly reflected in his tired face. The family decided to bury the deceased that very afternoon at TPU Jombang.
