Fatin is Captivated by the World of Japan and Pop Culture at Comic Con 2024

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Fatin recently attended one of the most prestigious Japanese cultural festivals in Indonesia, Comic Con 2024. Fatin, who is known for her strong interest in Japanese pop culture, admitted that she really enjoyed the colorful and creative atmosphere of the festival.

From local illustrator booths to cosplay fans, everything made her visit this time even more memorable. Fatin revealed that this was not her first visit to Comic Con.

"I really love everything related to Japan, so Comic Con is always exciting for me. This isn't my first time coming. Every year there are always interesting and different things. I got to explore and visit some cool booths, and there was even a gacha too," she said.

1. Admiring the Festival Atmosphere

She not only admired the festival atmosphere but was also impressed by the various creative works displayed. During her visit, Fatin felt proud of the presence of local illustrator booths showcasing works that are just as cool as those from Japanese culture.

"I’m really happy to see the works of our illustrators that are just as cool. So it’s not just about Japanese culture; we can also be proud of local creations," added Fatin.

This made her feel even more that Comic Con not only celebrates foreign cultures but also provides space for local creators to shine. Besides exploring booths and looking at merchandise, Fatin also enjoyed moments interacting with cosplayers dressed as characters from anime, games, and other Japanese pop culture.

"It’s so exciting to see many of my favorite characters come to life. There were some from games I love, and I even got to watch a V-Tuber live for the first time," she said.

2. First Experience

Fatin's first experience watching a V-Tuber live was also a highlight. "We weren't allowed to bring recording devices, so it really felt special and super exciting!" she said joyfully.

Comic Con 2024 also made Fatin more interested in exploring the pop culture world beyond music. "It's fun, a world that I actually didn't know about, so I'm learning a lot more," she said with a smile.

Fatin's interest in Japanese pop culture and her appreciation for local creative works make her hope to continue being involved in similar events in the future. She feels that this festival serves as a bridge that strengthens the relationship between Japanese and Indonesian cultures while also elevating local creators' works in the eyes of the public.
