Feby Febiola Reveals Her Illness, Stage 1C Ovarian Cancer

Kapanlagi.com - Beautiful actress Febby Febiola is currently battling ovarian cancer. In a recent conversation with Maia Estianty, Feby explained what type of cancer is in her body.

Feby admitted that she didn't feel anything when her illness started to grow. And she only realized that there was cancer in her ovaries when she underwent an ultrasound.

"Stage 1C ovarian cancer, I found out during the ultrasound. The ultrasound was about 2 months ago, and the doctor said there seems to be a mass in my right ovary. The doctor's face immediately turned serious. I was like, 'what is this?'. Because I didn't feel anything," said Feby Febiola as quoted from Maia Estianty's latest YouTube video.

After undergoing an ultrasound and finding out that there was cancer inside her body, the doctor asked Feby Febiola to undergo several examinations. Starting from blood tests, tumor markers, and even a CT scan, she did them all. 

"After that, I was asked to do tumor marker and CT scan. Well, tumor markers had to be sent to Jakarta, and at that time there was a large-scale social restriction, so the results would only be available in 2 more weeks," said the 42-year-old woman. 

"So blood tests, tumor markers, CT scan. As for the blood tests, my results were good, so I started to feel relieved, everything seems fine, liver function and everything else are okay," she continued. 

2. Already 16 Centimeters

The fastest result of the examinations was the CT scan. And that's where it was finally discovered that the ovarian cancer attacking Feby had grown to about 16 centimeters. 

"The tumor marker will take two more weeks, meanwhile, the CT scan can show immediately, it was visible during the CT scan. So the mass is already very large. Around 16 cm, the tumor. I didn't feel anything," she concluded.
