Nino is currently surviving from financial assistance or donations from various parties. Unfortunately, when asked about the assistance given to Nino, Melaney is reluctant to reveal. But one thing for sure, there is one important thing she conveyed to the vocalist of El Kasih.

"There is one thing that cannot be shared, what I can share is this audio message from God. Because Nino can hear but cannot speak yet. So I told Nino, I believe that faith will arise from hearing. Hearing the word of God. Just like a mobile phone, it needs to be charged every day, Nino's faith also needs to be charged every day. Especially when we're sick, sometimes we feel sad, feel like our friends who used to be in a band together forget about us and the feeling of being left behind is not a pleasant feeling," continued Melaney.

In addition to his heartbreaking condition, Nino also experienced other miserable fates such as being left by his wife. Upon realizing this, Melaney gave encouraging messages so that the singer of 'Kau Tigakan Cintaku' never gives up in facing difficult times in his life.

"Yesterday, Kak Melanie heard a really good quote from my favorite pastor. It goes like this, 'Helplessness is a condition, but despair is a choice'. So Nino has to make a decision that he has to meet his children again, be a great, strong, and healthy father. Melanie is the same, when there's a problem, look at the children. We don't feel like we want to get better, but when we see our child, we want to get better. So that when he is blessed by God, Nino is there standing, not using a wheelchair," concluded Melaney.
