Happy Living in Nursing Home, Elkasih Vocalist Who is Now Paralyzed Wants to Have a Stroke Foundation

Kapanlagi.com - Noventino Budi Lesmana, who is familiarly called Nino, has been living in a nursing home for the past month. The vocalist of the band Elkasih was accompanied by his friend to Pniel Nursing Home on June 13, 2020.

Unlike his appearance on stage with Elkasih, Nino is now confined to a wheelchair after experiencing three strokes since 2015. Not only stroke, but the stage name owner El Ibnu also experiences Aphasia, a communication disorder that can occur suddenly after a stroke or head injury.

Because of the Aphasia he experiences, now El Ibnu has to rely on a smartphone to communicate. Ibnu will type what he wants to convey even though it is difficult to move his fingers.

1. Feeling Happy

The trials and tribulations experienced by El Ibnu did not break his spirit. Especially after living in Panti Jompo Pniel, El Ibnu feels happy filling his days with jokes with the elderly residents of the other nursing home.

"Happy," said Ibnu through a short message on his smartphone.

"Joking with oma and opa," added Agustina, who is familiarly called Mama Au, the manager of Panti Jompo Pniel when interviewed on Trans TV, South Jakarta, Wednesday (22/7/2020).

2. Stroke Foundation

In the midst of his current condition, Ibnu can still share love with those around him. In fact, he desires to have his own stroke foundation. Although it has not been realized yet, this noble goal is slowly being realized by Ibnu starting from Panti Jompo Pniel, which currently shelters him.

"Not yet, but it will start from the nursing home," said Ibnu.

During her stay in the nursing home, Mama Au revealed that there were only a few fellow artists who always communicated with Ibnu, namely Arief Bias former drummer of Elkasih, Ruri Repvblik, and Febri Verona. However, it turns out there are other Indonesian artists who want to meet Ibnu.

"Melanie, Donna Agnesia, Ruben Onsu, Clarissa, and Hotman Paris," said Mama Au.
