As reported by Allkpop, SF9 members appeared on CJ ENM's Home Shopping Network in the early morning of Monday (20/7/2020) at 1 a.m. local time to sell their latest album, 9LORYUS, and towel sets. SF9 fans immediately worried when they saw the members looking exhausted but still had to do the live broadcast.
They became even angrier when they saw Rowoon also present using crutches to assist his injured back. Despite the advice for Rowoon to not work too much.
What makes fans even angrier is when the event producer of a live home shopping show leaves a message in the live chatbox. The producer asks fans to stop commenting about Rowoon's injury.
"Rowoon is indeed injured. He is currently managing his condition, but we are not sure. Please watch the broadcast. Everyone, please refrain from commenting about Rowoon's injury. Please. We trust you, Fantasies," wrote the PD.
Fans also noticed that SF9 members looked uncomfortable sitting because their chairs had almost no backrest during the live broadcast. They are angry at FNC Entertainment agency for knowing that there is an injured member but still participating in the early morning live broadcast.
"I hate it. They are the ones recording the members in pain, but they are also the ones telling fans to stop commenting about the injury. Shouldn't the agency say that it means to relax and not be stressed? Isn't it the agency's responsibility to protect their artists? They know Rowoon is injured and still make him come using crutches," commented one fan.
