Film Producer MERAH PUTIH ONE FOR ALL Emphasizes Edited Not Using CapCut

This issue quickly went viral and triggered various reactions. In response, executive producer Endiarto strongly denied the allegations and explained how impossible it would be from a technical standpoint.

Endiarto considers the accusations baseless because viewers only see a brief trailer clip. According to him, making a long-duration film with a simple application like CapCut is something that logically makes no sense.

"Yes, that's totally fine. How can they see that, just looking at the trailer? The trailer is just a snippet," said Endiarto when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (12/8/2025).

To strengthen his argument, he even shared his experience when discussing with professional animators. According to him, those animators admitted that they were not capable of working on long animated films, especially if they had to use limited software like mobile applications.

"If it can be edited using CapCut, maybe I could do it myself, you know. I asked the animators, 'Sir, is this a long or short film?' 'Long.' 'Ah, I'm sorry Sir, we are not capable if it's long.' Especially using CapCut. Just logically, you know," he asserted.

2. Producer's Clarification Regarding Other Issues

Endiarto explained further that the main challenge in long films is maintaining consistency or continuity. This is impossible to achieve with applications that are not designed for large-scale production, even if it is a paid version.

"We asked some animators from Jogja, Bandung, they cannot handle long films. Because their capability is just that, if they use it, they can't," he said.

"If it's just one minute, they can manage, but if it's long, the continuity won't work, it won't connect. It won't be possible, even if the buyer is a pro, it won't be able to," he added.

In the end, Endiarto left all assessments back to the public. However, he hopes the public can be wiser in receiving information and understanding the complexities behind film production.
