Toto Soegriwo is not an unfamiliar name in the film industry of the homeland. His career started behind the scenes, specifically at the production house PT Djohar Mandiri Jaya. He is also noted to have been active in the Indonesian Film Artists Association (PARFI), served as the Editorial Secretary of the magazine DeFilm, and even ventured into the radio world through S1079 FM.

This man is not only involved in film production but also has a long track record in film institutions. He has served as the Creative Director of PT Foromoko Matoa Indah Film, been involved in the National Film Advisory Board, and has been active in the H. Usmar Ismail Film Center (PPHUI). This experience has given him a deep understanding of the ins and outs of the entertainment industry.

Now, Toto serves as the General Secretary of the Indonesian Cinema Entrepreneurs Association (GPBSI). He is also trusted to be a curator on the local streaming platform localfilm.id, indicating his influential position in the national film ecosystem.

In addition to Merah Putih One For All, Toto has also been a producer for several other films. One of them is the horror film Basement Jangan Turun ke Bawah, which managed to capture the attention of local thriller and horror genre audiences.

The issue heated up when allegations of corruption involving government funds of Rp6.7 billion emerged. Toto immediately denied it firmly through social media. He assured that his team never received any government funding, and input from the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy was merely creative ideas. He also stated that this issue has impacted his family.

Now, after the film MERAH PUTIH ONE FOR ALL went viral and received a flood of criticism, Toto's Instagram account has disappeared from circulation. He only left his X/Twitter account to upload clarifications against the corruption allegations that he firmly denies.
