This news is one of the moments Giorgina has been waiting for, as her friends often teased her about when she would get engaged. Meanwhile, Ronaldo stated at that time that he was not against marriage, but was still waiting for the right time.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Giorgina Rodriguez announced happy news. They are now officially engaged, after Ronaldo proposed to her on Monday, (10/8) yesterday.
Through her post on Instagram, Giorgina showed off a giant diamond ring on her ring finger. She provided a sweet caption when announcing their engagement. "Yes, I do. In this life and throughout my whole life," Giorgina wrote in Spanish.
Ronaldo proposed to Giorgina in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They are currently living there because Ronaldo plays for Al-Nassr club and has just extended his contract with a fantastic value.
Ronaldo seems to feel that now is the right time to propose to Giorgina. After nearly 9 years together, Ronaldo is now ready to take a more serious step with his partner who has already given him 3 children.
The couple who first met in 2016 is now happily living together with their 5 children. Three of the children are from a surrogate pregnancy, and two are from Ronaldo's relationship with Giorgina. They actually have 6 children, but one of them passed away at birth.
The diamond ring given by Ronaldo is now in the spotlight. According to several sources, the ring is estimated to be worth USD 5 million, or around IDR 80 billion.
