In a post on her personal social media account, Nikita Mirzani expressed her desire for justice after making the report.

Reza Gladys' attorney, Julianus Sembiring, responded to the report with a calm demeanor. He believes that Nikita Mirzani's action of reporting the legal findings to the KPK is a reasonable step and indeed in line with the judges' recommendations during the trial.

"So regarding the information about the act of the defendant Nikita Mirzani reporting to the KPK concerning the recording evidence pointing to alleged bribery supposedly committed by our client, I think that is a reasonable legal step," Julianus stated, quoted from the YouTube broadcast of Cumicumi, Saturday (9/8/2025).

"Because it indeed has to be like that to prove it. Not to create scenarios that contradict the legal procedures in the trial," Julianus continued.

KPK spokesperson, Budi Prasetyo, stated that the report from Nikita Mirzani is currently in the verification stage. This process aims to ensure whether the report meets the criteria for corruption offenses and whether KPK has the legal authority to follow up on it.

He also added that KPK is open to all public reports. He emphasized that the follow-up on the report will only be communicated to the reporter to maintain their confidentiality and safety.

"KPK is certainly open to all reports from the public, and it will be accepted and followed up on. An initial review and verification will be conducted to determine whether the report falls within the criteria for corruption offenses or not, and whether it falls under KPK's jurisdiction or not," said Budi at the KPK office in South Jakarta, Monday (11/8).
