Kapanlagi.com - Rian Ekky Pradipta, or better known as Rian D'Masiv, finally emerged after remaining silent following allegations of sexual harassment against the child of the late writer and music observer, Denny Sakrie. On Monday, June 21, 2021, Rian was seen visiting the Metro Jaya Police accompanied by friends and his legal counsel.
For Rian, the circulating sexual harassment issue has greatly disturbed him and his family. Rian D'Masiv also admitted that the invitation to meet from the accusing party is indeed true, but Rian denies having committed the harassment.
"Regarding the issue that has been quite disturbing for me and my family, I am disturbed as well," said Rian D'Masiv when met at the Metro Jaya Police SPKT building on Monday night (21/6).
"Yesterday, the accusing party had invited me to meet for mediation. Initially, I had called and met them. I have met with their family, and this should not be prolonged as a misunderstanding, and I have never done what I have been accused of," he continued.
In addition, Rian explained the reason why he did not attend the meeting invitation. According to him, the meeting was not safe because Rian claimed that he was not allowed to bring a friend to accompany him.
"So yesterday they invited me to meet at a place that I felt was unsafe. They invited me, but I said I wanted one of my friends to accompany me no matter what because I also have to take care of myself and I don't want anything bad to happen to me. But they were not allowed to bring my assistant or my friend, so in the end I didn't come because I felt it was no longer safe for me," he said.
However, Rian said that he finally invited the accusing party to meet in a neutral place, namely at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters. The 34-year-old man admitted that he actually didn't want this issue to drag on because he respected the late Denny Sakrie.
"Finally, after that, I invited them for mediation because I want things to be good, because I don't want any fighting, I also respect the deceased and my friend. I tried to invite them to a neutral place, namely the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, I said that. I invited them yesterday but there was no response," he concluded.
