When he was first offered to join, Yoshi admitted that he didn't know much about the serial project that was offered to him. Once he found out, he was surprised.
"Honestly, when I was offered to be involved, I immediately did some research. Turns out it's really popular on Instagram and most popular on Tik Tok. After Googling, I found out that it started as a novel, then a film, and now a series, and it's been around for a while, there are already viewers," Yoshi said when met in the Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (17/10/2023).
After knowing the popularity of WEDDING AGREEMENT, Yoshi Sudarso's management asked the actor to be involved. Although he was hesitant at first, he finally decided to play the character named Salman.
"The character I play is not a simple character, he is very difficult. Personally, Salman is completely different, it's like out of this world, so how can I get into his character," Yoshi said.
After finally flying from Los Angeles to Jakarta, Yoshi Sudarso made sure he could go home when his wife gave birth. Director Archie Hekagery also ensured this.
"At that time, my wife was about to give birth and the shooting schedule was tight. I wanted to go home to accompany my wife during labor. And Mas Archie said, 'Don't worry, you can go home before your wife gives birth,'" Yoshi said.
Chand Parwez, the producer of WEDDING AGREEMENT THE SERIES, revealed that he had difficulty finding an actor to play Salman. The actor needed to exceed the charm of Refal Hady. And finally, Yoshi Sudarso was found.
"The process of finding a cast for Salman was quite lengthy, until we flew an actor from LA to Jakarta. After being in Jakarta, he (Yoshi) fell in love and wanted to return to his homeland," Chand said on the same occasion.
