Kapanlagi.com - The first trial of the drug abuse case involving defendant Ammar Zoni was held for the first time at the West Jakarta District Court. Unfortunately, the trial, which was conducted online, had to be postponed. Therefore, the trial will be continued and will still be conducted online as it is now.
"The defendant has not received the summons for the first trial," the judge said when postponing the trial on Thursday (2/5/2024).
"Therefore, we will summon again next week, on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 10 a.m., so that the prosecutor can bring the defendant online," the judge said.

The spokesperson for the West Jakarta District Court, Iwan Wardhana, did not provide a detailed explanation as to why the hearing was conducted online. According to him, all hearings held at PN Jakbar are indeed conducted online.
"Conducted online. All cases are conducted virtually," he said.

What is clear is that Irish Bella's ex-husband will be charged under Article 114 paragraph 1 Jo Article 112 and Article 111 paragraph 2 of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics.

As a reminder, Ammar Zoni was arrested for the third time for drug abuse. Ammar Zoni was apprehended in an apartment in the Serpong area, South Tangerang, on December 14, 2023.
The police also managed to secure evidence in the form of four packages of methamphetamine and one small package of marijuana during Ammar Zoni's arrest. While his case was still being processed at the West Jakarta Metro Police, Irish Bella filed for divorce, eventually leading to the father of two being labeled as a widower.
