As a wife, Lesti Kejora will always support her husband, Rizky Billar, in anything he does. This includes Rizky Billar's increasing focus on working behind the scenes, which of course would not be possible without her involvement.
However, when it comes to the production of Rizky Billar's latest song, 'Menanti Waktu', sung by Asila Maisa, Lesti had no involvement at all. In fact, she openly admits that all the lyrics in the song were written and composed by her husband himself.
Not only that, Lesti also said that Rizky Billar got inspiration in writing the lyrics of 'Menanti Waktu' when they were in Cianjur, their hometown.
"So actually in this project, everything is really handled by Billar," said Lesti Kejora when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (1/5).
"When making this song, the inspiration, the idea was when we were in Cianjur," she added.
On the same occasion, Rizky Billar also confirmed this. He told the story that at that time, the song 'Menanti Waktu' was created from the melodies and tones in his head.
He also said that when this song is finished, his wife doesn't want to sing it. That's because Lesti is afraid that the lyrics in this song will become a bad prayer for her family.
"Yes, I was just looking at the waterfall at that time, humming, then I asked Lesti to sing, then she said no, brother," said Rizky Billar.
"My wife doesn't want to because there is one lyric that she is afraid will become a prayer," he continued.
Nevertheless, Lesti admitted that this song, created by her husband, is a good work.
"Yes, then I said that this song is actually good, and finally, who is it (that is suitable to sing it), and then we discussed it and it turns out that (Asila Maisa) secretly messaged me saying she wants to sing this song," Lesti Kejora concluded.
