The news of Azka Corbuzier soon following in the footsteps of his father as a convert was conveyed by Gus Miftah in a lecture in Demak, Central Java.
At that time, Gus Miftah discussed about Deddy Corbuzier who is currently a hot topic in the public regarding his controversy.
As known, Deddy Corbuzier decided to convert to Islam since 2019, accompanied by Gus Miftah.
Becoming a Muslim does not mean that Deddy Corbuzier forces his beliefs on his son. He allows Azka to make his own choice.
After three years since Deddy Corbuzier converted to Islam, it turns out that Azka will follow in his father's footsteps.
Gus Miftah said that this month, possibly in May or June, he will accompany Azka in embracing Islam.
"And this is the first time I announce it in Demak, pray for Azka Corbuzier to embrace Islam this month, Deddy Corbuzier's son," said Gus Miftah quoted from the YouTube channel Masjid Jami' Teluk, Sunday (22/5).
On the other hand, both Deddy Corbuzier and Azka themselves have not commented on Gus Miftah's statement regarding the news of Azka changing his religion.
