For the First Time Acting in a Horror Film, Lulu Tobing Was Initially Scared Because She Had to Involve Many Animals

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Lulu Tobing has finally ventured into the world of horror films for the first time. Although she was initially hesitant, Lulu admitted to finding courage after discussing it with the Falcon Pictures team and the film's director.

"At first, I felt incapable because I had never done it before. But after the discussion, I was convinced that I could. It turned out to be true, this is a new and enjoyable experience," said Lulu Tobing at the gala dinner with the cast of the film 'GUNA-GUNA ISTRI MUDA' in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Friday (15/11/2024).

1. Still Feeling Around

This horror film, which premiered on November 27, 2024, is indeed a big challenge for Lulu. Adapting to a genre she has never tried before, Lulu admitted that she initially sought ways to build her confidence.

"This is my first horror film, so I'm still feeling around. But thanks to the warm support from the director, co-stars, and the entire team, the fear feels lighter," she expressed.

2. Big Challenges During Filming

As a new genre for her, Lulu also admitted to experiencing significant challenges during her first filming process.

"For something new, there is definitely a feeling of nervousness. At first, I thought, 'Can I do this?' But because of the many reinforcements from the entire team, it turned out to be easier than I imagined," she said.

3. Facing Fear

However, there is another unique experience that Lulu had during the film production. One of the scenes involved an animal that has been her fear for a long time. Lulu admitted that she needed a special trick to face that fear.

"I do have an excessive fear of animals. So, there is a special trick to cope with that," said Lulu.

4. Animal Trauma

This film even involves several animals like snakes and pigs that made Lulu feel a bit anxious. Although she does not have a specific trauma, she said that the fear was more due to being ticklish.

"There is a real snake involvement in this film. Basically, there are a lot of animals," she said.

5. THE CURSE OF YOUR YOUNG WIFE

In this film, Lulu plays Vivian, a woman who must accept the bitter reality of her husband, Burhan (Anjasmara), marrying Angel (Carissa Perusset) as a young wife. However, this story is not just about household conflicts, but also continues with the game of love spells and shamans.

Angel, who is dissatisfied as the second wife, tries to seduce Roy (Elang El Gibran), Vivian's nephew, with black magic. The situation worsens when Vivian becomes the target of Angel's curse. However, Vivian, full of love and struggle, decides to fight all those threats.
