Arya Saloka is once again trusted to portray the character Pandu in the film SAYAP-SAYAP PATAH 2: OLIVIA. To delve into this role, Arya made several physical adjustments as requested by the director and production team.
"Shoulder-length hair, a bit wavy, as per the request of the director and creative producer. 'Can I ask for the belly to be pulled in a bit hehe,'" Arya stated when met at XXI Epicentrum, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday (30/4/2025).
Arya responded to the request casually and even acknowledged that his body condition is indeed a bit fuller due to his eating habits.
"At that time my stomach was a bit protruding because I ate too much. So I pulled my stomach in a bit, it's quite noticeable if you see it," he said with a smile.
Not only about body shape, Arya also mentioned that he lost weight for a look that better fits his character.
"A bit thinner, during shooting if I'm not mistaken I was at 82 kg, but if I'm not mistaken previously I was at 87 kg," said the former husband of Putri Anne.
According to Arya, this change in appearance is a form of his commitment to the role he plays. He believes that physical details are important to strengthen the character portrayed.
As a member of Densus 88 who is a single father, Pandu's character requires a firm gesture and posture but also shows an emotional side as a parent.
This change, according to Arya, also helps him to better connect with Pandu's character in this story filled with conflict and emotion. Arya himself has previously been known for his dedication in every film project he stars in, and this time he proves his commitment once again.
The film WINGS OF BROKEN 2: OLIVIA continues the story from the first film, but with a different perspective that highlights Pandu's life with his child after losing his wife.
