Free from Prison, Virly Virginia Ready to Rebuild Her Career Through the DJ World

Virly revealed that she has just completed a 12-month prison sentence. She recounted that her involvement in the case began when she accepted a filming offer that she considered reasonable.

"At first, I really didn’t know, because I was invited to shoot, initially it was a legitimate shoot. So we didn’t know that it would turn out to be a mess like this in 5 years," said Virly Virginia.

During her time in prison, this woman of Chinese-Indonesian descent admitted to experiencing mental pressure. However, she tried to turn her experience into a life lesson. She added that the situation in prison led her to new experiences that guided her.

"Of course, there was stress, being away from family is definitely stressful. The conditions provided a lot of guidance that was actually good for us. So it’s just a lesson for a lifetime, right?" she said.

1. Intention to Improve Oneself

After being declared free, Virly expressed the intention to improve herself and rebuild public trust. She is grateful to still have a circle of people who continue to support her steps. Because of that, Virly is now starting to aim for the music world as a new career path. She stated that she wants to delve into the profession of Disc Jockey (DJ) and gradually leave her old image.

"Most likely to go down the right, good path, and start learning music, the big possibility is to become a DJ," she explained.

She even mentioned that there have been several offers from new management to perform as a DJ. Although the DJ profession is often viewed negatively, Virly chooses to remain focused on her good intentions.

"If people say that the person’s eyes are not good, that’s everyone’s different perception. I also can’t blame it. I also happen to like music too. So it seems there’s nothing wrong with that," she asserted.

In addition to trying out the DJ world, Virly is also considering endorsement offers more selectively. She wants to ensure that her future work no longer touches on legal risk issues.

"We are more selective. I mean, we prefer jobs that are no longer connected with officials," she said.

2. More Cautious & Mentally Strong

The bitter experience he went through serves as a reminder for Virly to be more careful in choosing a career path. He also conveys a message to beginners in the entertainment world not to be easily tempted.

"Look for what fits in everything. Indeed, we need money, we need to check money, but better. It would be great if there wasn’t anything like that. Don’t be tempted by these things that are too much. There are also many other modes now, we just get hurt more, be more careful," he said.

According to Virly, his experience in prison has shaped him into a mentally stronger person. He feels he has borne enough consequences from his past.

"My life experience in prison is quite enough to be the best teacher, really strengthening mentally in there," he said.

3. Mother as a Source of Strength

In facing that difficult time, Virly referred to her mother as the main figure who never tired of accompanying her. She feels content with the mistakes she made in the past.

"It must be my mom, because she is the most stable person who really supports me from the inside until I come home, we cried together. I think the mischief I did outside yesterday is enough," she concluded.
