Freya JKT48 Reports Photo Manipulation Case, Police Schedule Examination

The investigation into the alleged photo manipulation case involving Freya JKT48 continues to show progress. After receiving the official report, the South Jakarta Metro Police swiftly scheduled an examination of the reporter.

The police have sent an official summons to Freya to attend and provide clarification before the investigators. This agenda is a very important first step in the investigation process to uncover who is behind the troubling accounts.

"So, we have sent a clarification summons to the reporter. As for the schedule, God willing, it will be tomorrow," said AKBP Murodih at the South Jakarta Police, Wednesday (11/3/2026).

Although the letter has been sent, the police have not been able to confirm what time the idol will arrive at the South Jakarta Metro Police headquarters. The police only confirmed the day and date of the summons as stated in the letter received by the reporter.

"According to the schedule, we don't know the time yet. But for the day and date, tomorrow is when we have sent the letter," said AKBP Murodih.

The main focus of this summons is to request an explanation directly from Freya regarding the digital manipulation content that she discovered. The police want to ensure that the reported object truly damages the image and harms the reporter through posts that appear to be authentic.

"The object of the case I present here is that it appears as if the posts made by the perpetrator using the accounts @Grox and @Swaps are the reporter or the victim," said AKBP Murodih.

In addition to verbal statements, Freya is also known to have prepared several additional pieces of evidence to support her report. The evidence includes screenshots from accounts such as @Grox and @Swaps, which have been attached to the complaint file for further investigation by the cyber expert team.

"Well, it was found that there are still a few more pieces of evidence that may later be attached by the reporter. Due to this incident, the victim feels harmed," concluded AKBP Murodih.
