Funeral Plan for Nia Ramadhani's Grandmother, Arranged Before Passing Away

Kapanlagi.com - The family of Nia Ramadhani is enveloped in grief over the passing of their beloved grandmother, Hanna Louise Poluan, who passed away on Friday (24/1/2025). The plan is for the body to be buried on Sunday (26/1/2025) at the Tanah Kusir cemetery in South Jakarta, right next to her grandfather.

"Tomorrow she will be buried, next to Grandpa," said Nia when met at the Sentosa Funeral Home in Central Jakarta, Saturday (25/1/2025).

1. Prepare Funeral Needs

Hanna Louise Poluan had already prepared all the needs for her funeral long before she passed away. From clothes, coffin, to the burial location, everything was arranged by the deceased.

"Basically, when she dies, she already bought her own fabric for the dress and we have sewn it, then we tried it on and made revisions and everything. We made it, we cried, she didn’t," explained the mother of three with teary eyes.

2. The Deceased's Funeral Wishes

Not only that, other details were also planned by the grandmother, starting from the funeral home, the order of family members during the burial procession, to the songs that must be sung.

"She wants this coffin, so we bought it. She wants this funeral home, where the grave will be. Tomorrow, when we go to the cemetery, there will be an order, with who will hold the photo, the grandchildren and great-grandchildren have already been arranged," added Nia.

3. The Figure of the Deceased in the Eyes of Family

Ardi Bakrie, Nia's husband, also expressed his admiration for Hanna Louise Poluan. He considered the deceased to be an extraordinary woman who was caring towards her family and friends.

"She was a very kind woman, very attentive to her grandchildren, her children, and her friends, and that has always been an example for all of us," said Ardi.

4. Accompanying Until the End of Life

Ardi also mentioned that Nia was very devastated by her grandmother's passing, considering their closeness since childhood. During the deceased's illness, the family always made an effort to be together to provide care and accompany her until the end of her life.

"When she was sick, we were all together in Jakarta to stay close, and thank God, she showed that she never gave up and never became a burden," revealed the man who married Nia in 2010.

5. Different Beliefs

Despite having different beliefs, Nia emphasizes that she still respects all of her grandmother's last requests. She even ensures that all the funeral plans that have been arranged by the deceased can proceed according to her wishes.

"Even though we have different religions, I don't mind what Oma asked for. We are asked to memorize a song to sing tomorrow," Nia concluded.

The passing of Hanna Louise Poluan leaves a deep sorrow for the extended family, especially for Nia Ramadhani who was very close to her grandmother. However, the legacy of love and care given during her lifetime serves as a valuable lesson for the entire family.
