Hendra Siregar, as Desta's lawyer, stated that his client's household has been shaky since a year ago due to differences in vision and mission. Due to frequent quarrels, they finally agreed to separate.
"They often quarrel and went straight to court (for divorce). They have tried (to fix their household) together, but it didn't work and finally they came to this conclusion," said Hendra, met in Cipete area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (18/5/2023).
The hype of Desta's divorce petition against Natasha Rizky has sparked many rumors. One of them is the presence of a third party who is suspected to be Gege Elisa. However, the news was immediately denied by Hendra Siregar.
"There is no third party issue. They are just friends, not close friends. (The reason for the divorce) is purely from their household, there are no other people involved," said Hendra.
The first hearing of Desta's divorce petition will be held at the South Jakarta Religious Court on May 29, 2023 with an agenda of document submission followed by mediation. It is not yet known whether Desta will be present or not.
"The first hearing is on May 29. So far, he has not responded. I don't know why, maybe he has other activities," said the lawyer who is also a friend of Desta.
