Getting Married in the Middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Indra Priawan Reveals His Difficulties

Their love journey was not always smooth. They broke up before finally getting married today. As a result, their wedding preparations were quite short.

"We started preparing (the wedding) about 3.5 months ago, in July," said Indra Priawan during a virtual press conference via the bridestory YouTube channel.

1. Postponed for a Week

Their wedding, which was supposed to take place on October 11, had to be postponed for a week due to the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) that had not ended at that time.

"The wedding was supposed to be held on October 11, but because we were still not allowed to hold weddings, we had to postpone it for a week," said Indra Priawan.

2. Difficulties of Getting Married Amidst a Pandemic

Indra Priawan admitted that he faced difficulties in preparing for his wedding with Nikita Willy amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it also became a challenge for him to ensure that their wedding would proceed smoothly.

"There were many difficulties because during the PSBB, it was also difficult for us to meet people in person. So, we had many meetings with vendors through Zoom and phone calls," explained Indra Priawan.

"It was sometimes a challenge itself because we couldn't meet in person. And there were government regulations that prevented us from planning according to the initial plan," he concluded.

3. Continuing to Implement Health Protocols

A number of celebrities who attended Nikita and Indra's wedding as guests admitted that the procession was carried out while still implementing health protocols. This is important because the current pandemic situation has not fully improved.
