Getting Married on March 21st, Atta Halilintar Wants to Hold the Ceremony at Istiqlal Mosque

Kapanlagi.com - YouTuber Atta Halilintar continues to plan his wedding despite Aurel Hermansyah currently undergoing self-isolation due to being exposed to the Covid-19 virus. After previously going to Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in South Jakarta, Atta is now going to Istiqlal Mosque.

Not without reason, apparently Atta Halilintar plans to make Istiqlal Mosque the place to exchange marriage vows with Aurel Hermansyah on March 21, 2021.

"Please pray for us, because this is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia, a pride of Indonesia and in my opinion, this mosque is really cool and represents Indonesia's tolerance. Here, mosques and churches can stand side by side. So, I think this is the perfect place to create something special," Atta said on Thursday (24/2).

1. Still Dealing with Permits

However, Atta Halilintar still doesn't know whether he can use Istiqlal Mosque for his wedding ceremony. Until now, he is still taking care of various permits for his special day with Aurel Hermansyah.

"I'm still in the process of dealing with the permits," said Atta when met at the area of Istiqlal Mosque, Central Jakarta.

2. Atta's Reason

When asked about the actual reason for choosing a large mosque as the venue for his wedding ceremony, Atta answered that it is because of the current pandemic situation. According to him, Istiqlal Mosque is an ideal place for social distancing.

"What's for sure is that I chose a big mosque because I really want to practice social distancing. If it's a small mosque, the scope is also small, and then I have to do a swab test, maintain distance, so I need a big one. After this, I'm going to look at other mosques," he concluded.
