GIGI 25th Anniversary Concert Without Audience, Armand Maulana Was Confused

Kapanlagi.com - Recently, GIGI held a concert to celebrate their 25th anniversary in the Indonesian music industry. What's unique is that the concert was held without an audience due to the Corona virus outbreak.

Armand Maulana spoke about the concert. He said he was confused and sad because the concert had to go on without any audience.

1. Thorough Preparation

"Yeah, it's sad. We were well-prepared for months, but there were many incidents that turned out to be a blessing for us," he said when contacted by phone on Monday (23/3).

"First, for us and Trans 7, we've never experienced anything like this before, holding a big concert but with no audience. It's confusing, you know, because it feels more like a rehearsal since only the crew is watching," he added.

2. Positive Thinking

He interpreted the concert positively. Because with this concert without an audience, Armand can focus more on singing.

"But the good thing is that I am more focused on how to sing, because maybe if there are audience their emotions will come back to us and we will be carried away. Well, yesterday there were no audience so my emotions were controlled. Usually, I would raise my mic to the audience, but this time I raised it to the camera haha. I'm sure they also sing in front of the TV," he concluded.
