The role of the coordinator greatly helps him find the right comfort zone with his co-star for maximum visual results. The 32-year-old man feels that open communication is the key to avoiding misunderstandings on set.

"Yes, I think intimacy coordinators are very important. Very important and... what was the question again? Oh, to find the comfort zone," said Giorgino Abraham when met in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Thursday (4/6/2026).

1. Closeness with Co-stars

Personal closeness with co-stars is the main focus for this man born in Spijkenisse before officially starting the shoot. He always strives to establish warm communication so that the work atmosphere does not feel stiff for all parties involved.

"That's why usually every time I have a project, I want to be very close to my co-star. Whether it's a girl, a guy, or someone playing my father or mother, I need to have a certain closeness," he said.

2. Awkward Moments on Set

Gino also shared how awkward the atmosphere becomes when dozens of crew members start watching the actors' movements from a close distance. The presence of cameramen and makeup artists around them sometimes adds pressure when they have to perform scenes without clothes.

"So it's not just the girls who feel awkward, the guys definitely feel awkward too. 'Wow, this is really something, huh?'. Because we’re not alone, we have cameramen, soundmen, lighting, makeup, wardrobe, all watching us," he said.

3. Appeal to Viewers

It also reminds viewers to be wiser in responding to every show that appears very extreme on the screen. According to him, many uses of cinematographic techniques and clever camera angles are intentionally designed to deceive the viewers' eyes.

"It's real but there are trick camera angles that deceive the audience as if the scene is that extreme, whereas in reality it is not like that because there are several props that we use," he revealed.
