Gisella Anastasia Reveals Christmas Ritual with Gempi and Gading Marten, Already Divided the Schedule

Gisella Anastasia welcomes the Christmas holiday with great joy. As a single parent to Gempita Nora Marten, Gisel apparently has a special agreement regarding the division of their child's time with her ex-husband, Gading Marten.

Although no longer husband and wife, Gisel and Gading are known to be very united in raising their child. For this Christmas celebration, Gempi is sure to spend time with both sides of the family alternately.

Gisel explained that this routine has become a tradition they have been following every year. There are no overly lavish celebrations, but rather it emphasizes the moment of gathering with each family's extended relatives.

"For Christmas, it seems that Gempi has her own ritual with her Daddy. I am with my family, Papa Gading with his family. Most likely, Gempi will be with me in the afternoon and with Opa Roy in the evening," Gisel said when met in Bintaro recently.

Regarding preparations at home, Gisel admitted that she does not do many extravagant things. She only puts up a few simple decorations with Gempi to bring the Christmas spirit to their home. "A little decoration at home with Gempi. I haven't bought gifts yet. Okay, I'll buy the gifts tomorrow," she said.

For Gisel, Christmas is not about luxury themes or extravagant parties. She prefers simplicity by visiting her parents' and relatives' homes in the Bekasi area.

"There's nothing special, we never really have any specific celebrations during Christmas. Usually, we just gather at our grandparents' house, so we join in Bekasi," she said.

She also interprets Christmas as a moment to reflect on herself and to be grateful for all the redemption she has received in her faith. Gisel hopes this moment can make her a better person in the future. "Whenever I'm asked about the meaning of Christmas, I understand more now that the essence is really about being grateful and rejoicing," she said.

"For us, in our belief, the Savior was born to redeem sins. So it's time to be grateful and to reflect on ourselves again. So that what has been saved is not in vain, we can continue to do good," she concluded.
