Andhika Pratama was met at Pondok Indah Hospital, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (1/9/2020). He said that his wife chose to have a cesarean section even though she could give birth normally. This was because Ussy needed ILA injections (pain relief medication during childbirth) which cannot be used during normal delivery.

"The delivery went smoothly, the decision made was a cesarean section due to various considerations. Ussy is not young anymore, and we have been monitoring the pregnancy for about nine months. Finally, the doctor suggested that the best option is a cesarean section," said Andhika.

Andika admits that he and his family are excited to have a first son.

"Until now, we've only heard stories like 'wow, a boy is really different, wow, a boy is really active, wow, a boy drinks a lot of milk', but we haven't experienced it yet. It seems like we're getting ready for that," he answered.

Because of their excitement, he said that his children always talk to their sibling while still in the womb.

"Yeah, the older sibling is really excited, he has always been like that for a long time. When we're at home, they always talk to the baby in my belly and say 'come out quickly'. They even promise to play with him, play this and play that. Maybe because they feel that at home, it's all girls, suddenly there will be a boy, how does it feel? Maybe they're wondering, so they just had a video call conversation asking 'when are you coming home, I want to hug you, I want to kiss you'," he added.

3. Meaning of the Child's Name

Many are curious about the meaning of the child's name, Andhika explained that it means being a male child who is the pillar of the family and a good ruler.

"Sakalingga Ibra Pratama. Saka Lingga is a male child who becomes the pillar of the family, while Ibra is a good ruler. Pratama is taken from my name, which means first, because this is the first male child," he explained.
