Greta Irene, Laura Anna's Sister, Will Support Gaga Muhammad's Case Until Her Sister Receives Justice

Kapanlagi.com - The request from Gaga Muhammad's legal team, Fahmi Bachmid, for his client to attend an offline trial has been granted by the panel of judges at the East Jakarta District Court. Therefore, in the next trial scheduled for Thursday (23/12/2021), Gaga Muhammad will be present in court.

"It has been decided that Gaga will be present at the upcoming trial, so the panel of judges has decided it's okay, Gaga will be present at the next trial," said Gaga Muhammad's lawyer, Fahmi Bachmid, at the East Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (21/12/2021).

For information, today's trial took place with the agenda of listening to expert witnesses brought by the Public Prosecutor (JPU). In this trial, Laura Anna's sister, Greta Irene, also attended to witness the virtual trial of Gaga Muhammad.

"Honestly, I leave it to the lawyers to evaluate. I am present as Laura's trust," said Greta Irene.

1. Continue Monitoring the Case

In this case, Greta admitted that she will continue to monitor the case until Gaga Muhammad receives the reward for his actions. Additionally, Greta also hopes that her late sister's report will receive justice.

"According to Laura's mandate, we are here and will continue to monitor this process until Laura receives fair justice. That's it," said Greta Irene.

2. Not Meeting Gaga's Father

During the trial, Gaga Muhammad's father, Asep Yusman, also attended. Not only that, Laura Anna's friends, such as Marshel Widianto, Keanu Agl, and many others, also attended to witness the trial.

Although they were in the same place, Laura Anna's sister, Greta Irene, admitted that she did not know that Gaga's father was also present in the trial.

"I didn't meet, didn't encounter, I went home first," she said.

3. Tomorrow's Trial

Gaga Muhammad's trial will resume on Thursday (23/12/2021). In the upcoming trial, the panel of judges from the East Jakarta District Court will directly present Gaga in the proceedings.

"Considering the situation where the connection during several trials was not good, taking into account that request, the panel of judges consulted, sometimes the detainee is not ready, the panel understands that," said the Panel of Judges from the East Jakarta District Court.

"In the next trial, we will conduct it offline, the requirements from the defendant will be requested. If violated, the decision for the offline trial will be canceled," he added.

4. Traffic Accident

Previously, Gaga Muhammad was reported by Laura Anna for a traffic accident case. The incident occurred in 2019. At that time, Laura Anna had problems with her spine, which resulted in her paralysis. Meanwhile, Gaga Muhammad only suffered minor injuries.

5. Already Detained

Based on Laura Anna's report, Gaga Muhammad has been detained at the East Jakarta Traffic Police Detention Center. From the report, Gaga is charged with article 310 paragraph 3 of Law number 22 of 2009 concerning traffic and road transportation with a maximum penalty of 5 years imprisonment.
