Hana Hanifah Refuses Mediation in First Trial Because She is Determined to Divorce

Kapanlagi.com - Hana Hanifah attended the first trial of her divorce lawsuit against her husband Randy at the Bogor Religious Court, West Java, on Wednesday (25/10). Hana Hanifah, accompanied by her lawyer, Acong Latief, stated that she does not want to undergo mediation because she is determined to divorce.

"Preparations, God willing. I am determined (to divorce) because many things have been considered. From my side, I do not want mediation because I really want to divorce," said Hana Hanifah before entering the courtroom.

1. Don't Want to Rethink Again

During the court session, Hana Hanifah was asked by the Judges to reconsider in order to save her marriage. Especially since they have only been married for a month. However, Hana Hanifah refused because her husband has made a fatal mistake, which is infidelity.

"I can't reconsider. I have tried to fix it but there is no solution and there is infidelity. I no longer love him. Because in my opinion, (his mistake) is already fatal and he also doesn't respect my parents," Hana Hanifah answered the Judges.

2. Adjourned Session

However, because Randy, as the defendant, did not attend today's session, the trial had to be adjourned and will be held again on November 1st.

"The result is that the first session is for examining the data, examining the lawsuit and power of attorney, and so on. Since the defendant did not attend, the mediation is postponed until the 1st of November. We don't know (why the defendant didn't attend) because there was no confirmation to us, no confirmation to Hana or to the court. But what is clear is his absence, which is evidence that he indeed has no good intentions," explained Acong Latief.

3. Hana Hanifah Disappointed

Because the trial was postponed, Hana Hanifah felt disappointed because she wanted the divorce process to be completed quickly.

"Yes (disappointed), I want it to be finished quickly because it's tiring to deal with this. But I don't know anything about him. I don't even know where he is now because we've lost contact for a long time," concluded Hana Hanifah.
