Kapanlagi.com - Kimberly Ryder is now living life as a single mother after officially divorcing Edward Akbar. Although she has to play dual roles as both father and mother, Kimberly appears strong and remains focused on her children's happiness.
"It's been a while, a few months actually. Basically, I keep working and enjoying life. Whenever I'm not working, I spend time with my kids, taking them out," Kimberly said when met in the Pakubuwono area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (11/12/2024).
On this occasion, Kimberly also revealed that she is preparing for a new step. Although she doesn't want to rush, she hopes her future endeavors will go smoothly.
"InshaAllah yes, actually I want to start a new business but slowly slowly. Bismillah just pray for me," she said.
As a single mother, Kimberly does not deny the challenges she faces. She has to divide her time between work and attention for her children.
"Fortunately, now there are more activities like many lessons and soon they will start school too," she explained.
"So it fits well because they are also about to move out of their age range," she added.
Kimberly also makes sure to spend time with her children amidst her busy schedule. She realizes the importance of maintaining a balance between career and family.
"InshaAllah I will always make time for this, it seems like I'm working too much right now, oh I should spend a day or two with them," she explained.
