The grave of the late Vidi Aldiano at TPU Tanah Kusir is never quiet from visitors. The immense love from fans and relatives keeps the singer's tomb always filled with colorful flower petals every day.
However, due to the abundance of flowers scattered, the family has expressed that there are some difficulties in maintaining the newly laid grass at the grave. The cemetery staff also have to work extra to clean up the piles of flowers.
"If it's flowers, it turns out that if we scatter flowers on Vidi's grave, which is still new and currently being planted with grass, the grass won't grow. So every afternoon, the cemetery staff cleans the flowers. It can fill two sacks. There are so many people who bring flowers," said Harry Kiss when met at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, Tuesday (24/3/2026).
Harry explained that the family was confused because the many flowers in the morning often disappeared by the afternoon. It turns out that this is a procedure from the staff so that the grass on the grave can grow perfectly.
"That's why sometimes we see a lot of flowers in the morning, but suddenly there are none in the afternoon? It turns out the cemetery staff put them in sacks so that the grass can grow. Once the grass has grown, it's fine. So if you want to bring flowers, they must have stems and names," he said.
Besbarini added that the group of Vidi fans often comes in large numbers with very thorough preparations. They do not only come to pray, but also bring various pilgrimage supplies.
"So they came yesterday, more than this person, around more than 20 of them came. They had prepared flower petals, they also prepared blue flowers, blue roses. They prepared food and drinks for the participants who were present to sprinkle the flowers," he explained.
Not only for themselves, these fans also showed concern for the people around the grave. This action received deep appreciation from Vidi's family.
"Providing drinks, food, and all the cemetery staff were given donations. Lunch was held in the name of Vidi," he concluded.
