Kapanlagi.com - Senior actor Adi Kurdi, known in Indonesia for his role as Abah in the soap opera KELUARGA CEMARA, passed away on Friday (8/5/2020) at around 11:30 AM. Adi Kurdi died at the age of 71, leaving behind a wife and a daughter named Maria Advena Victoria.
According to a statement from his wife, Bernadetta Siti Restyratuti, Adi Kurdi's body will not be buried today (8/5/2020) as there will be a ceremony first. Bernadetta Siti Restyratuti, who is commonly called Tuti, revealed that her husband died from a brain tumor after previously suffering from glaucoma and a stroke.
"So it's a brain tumor, there's a blockage and now it's filled with fluid even though it has been drained," said Bernadetta Siti Restyratuti when contacted by KapanLagi.com.

Tuti also affirmed that Adi Kurdi did not die due to the coronavirus or COVID-19. She and her family claimed to have undergone tests and the results showed negative.
"Mas Adi did not die because of COVID, corona, we are all negative for corona," she concluded.
Tuti stated that mourners are allowed to come to the funeral home on Saturday (9/5/2020) because today the family is still preparing the ceremony for the late Adi Kurdi.
"So if you want to come, come tomorrow. I ask all journalists to come tomorrow. Please inform others. Humbly, we announce and inform that they should come tomorrow because we are still preparing," said Tuti.
According to Tuti, her husband took his last breath on a good day for all religions. This is likened to her husband's nature of being very tolerant towards everyone.
"He passed away in the month of Ramadan, and for Christians, it is the Easter season, and for Catholics, it is the month of Mary. So, God's will is indeed very good for his people. He was called home on a good day for all religions. It is exactly like Mas Adi, Mas Adi was very tolerant," she concluded.
