Maudy Ayunda revealed that her love for learning has been instilled since childhood. Maudy admitted that learning has become a kind of escape from the career routine she has been living since she was young. Maudy mentioned that she feels the activity of learning gives her a different space far from the demands of her profession.

"Although it is also enjoyable, right? But it’s strange, isn’t it? It’s really strange, kind of the opposite," said Maudy Ayunda.

Even so, Maudy honestly answered that the reason she enjoys learning is actually somewhat mixed. Maudy likes learning not just because it is fun like doing a hobby.

"One is because I really like it. But the second is that there might be, I don't know, an obsession, a challenge, and also an element of escape," she added.

In Raditya Dika's podcast, Maudy Ayunda also touched on the role of parents in her love for learning. According to Maudy, she grew up in a family environment that did not put excessive pressure on academics. Her parents were not the type to interfere too much in school matters.

"And strangely, that made me feel okay, which means that the school world belongs to me. Like, whether it's good or not, that's a form of accountability and my own effort," concluded Maudy.
