His Collection Watch is Offered in a Disrespectful Way, Ari Lasso Rebukes Raffi Ahmad: Not Because of Money

Like before, he went to Anang Hermansyah's house to ask about the most expensive item. And previously, he visited Andre Taulany's house. In fact, when visiting Andre's house, Raffi immediately bought a classic car from Andre's collection for Rp700 million at that time.

But it's different with Ari Lasso. The former vocalist of Dewa band refused Raffi Ahmad's request to buy his collection watch. In fact, he reprimanded Raffi for his disrespectful manner.

It all started with Raffi Ahmad, who turned out to be a true fan of Dewa 19 and also a fan of Ari Lasso. He wants to buy one of his idol's collectible watches as a memento. 

Not only that, he even wants to buy all the watches along with their boxes at three to five times the original price. 

"Bro, what if, you know, I really like it. What if, if there's one that I want to buy, can I?," Raffi Ahmad asked as quoted from the RANS Entertainment YouTube channel, Monday (23/3).

"Can I take it with money, if I just pay, double the price, triple the price, I pay five times, for example," he continued. 

2. Ari Lasso Rebukes Raffi Ahmad

Upon hearing Raffi's request, Ari Lasso remained silent for a moment. Not long after, he gave an answer to Raffi. He even reprimanded him. 

"Here's the thing, if you're buying just to show off your money, I don't like it. There's no need for triple the price. What's the point of the watch you're buying," Ari Lasso said.

Still insisting on buying, Raffi explained his reasons. He even offered to exchange his car for the watch and its box. 

"It's not like that, you know, as a memento (because I'm a fan) yes, I'll buy it, just one. So I have it. Use this, if not, for example, the car from yesterday, the one Andre Taulany has, the mini cooper, for example, how many watches is it worth, Mr. Ari. Above the price of the watch, or if not, add cash," Raffi Ahmad asked. 

3. Not About Money

After hearing an explanation from Raffi Ahmad, Ari Lasso finally reprimanded him. For Ari, not everything can be measured by money. Every item he owns has its own value and meaning for him. 

"Raffi, not everything is measured by money. I don't appreciate you valuing me as a fan, I appreciate that. And I am even very honored that you are willing to buy it at a much higher price, and even willing to let go of your car. But life is not just about money," said the singer of the song "Hampa". 

"Look, maybe cars can be easily obtained everywhere, Fi. Even though the value of this watch is far from what you offered me earlier, it has a spiritual bond with me, a historical one," he concluded.
