His Private House is Not Enough to Become a Wildlife Sanctuary, Raffi Ahmad's Cousin Builds a Zoo in Bandung

Kapanlagi.com - Raffi Ahmad's cousin, Alshad Ahmad, has a hobby of keeping various wild animals at his house. Due to the large number of wild animals he cares for, Alshad Ahmad's house is not enough to accommodate all his favorite animals.

Therefore, Alshad is currently focused on completing the construction of his own zoo. Currently, he is busy dealing with the permits for the zoo.

"Still busy with YouTube and wildlife conservation. Because we want to create a larger wildlife conservation area, maybe a zoo. So, we are focusing on the house for wild animals," said Alshad Ahmad when met in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, on Monday afternoon, August 30th.

"Not yet, because the most important thing is the land that needs approval from the government. There are several standards that need to be met, such as humidity and temperature, so we are looking for suitable land to build this mini zoo. Once we have the land, we will apply for permits and find a location first, then build the enclosures," he continued.

1. Dealing with the Most Difficult Licensing

Alshad admits that dealing with licensing is the most difficult thing because there are many approvals and standards that must be met to build a zoo. Alshad Ahmad plans to build the zoo in Bandung, West Java.

"There are indeed many requirements that must be fulfilled, it's really a lot and must be done professionally. There is a place, but the local residents disagree and don't want it to be turned into a tourist attraction. I applied again, but the temperature is too cold and humid so it's not possible. In Bandung and its surroundings," he said.

In addition, Alshad admitted that his goal in building a zoo is to provide knowledge to the wider community about various types of wild animals. For now, Alshad mentioned that he already has many wild animals at his own home such as ostriches, deer, cockatoos, tigers, and many others.

"If we have a zoo, we have to have as complete as possible because it's also for the education of visitors, a place for visitors to learn and get to know the animals. At home, I did trial and error before building a large zoo. I first made a breeding place at home. So at home, there are ostriches, deer, tigers, cockatoos, and others," he concluded.
