Kapanlagi.com - Sad news came from P Project member, Joe or Juhana Sutisna. His beloved son, Edge Thariq or commonly known as Gege, passed away in mid-May 2024. Kang Joe then shared the cause of his first son's death and memories with his late son.
When KapanLagi met him, Joe seemed to have accepted his son's departure. Together with his wife, Joe appeared to welcome KapanLagi's questions with a smile. Joe then explained the cause of Gege's passing.
“He didn't feel it, but it seems he had diabetes. Then there was respiratory failure, if not from the lungs, then from the heart,” he said.

Despite still being overshadowed by sadness, Joe recounts his closeness with his child and the memorable moments that deeply touched Joe and his wife. Throughout Gege's life, he was known to be very close to his father.
Joe admits that Gege used to work with him and they shared the same hobbies. Both of them enjoyed automotive hobbies and often went on motorcycle rides together.
“Sometimes he worked with me. But he's someone who doesn't want to be exposed. He's more of a behind the scenes person. His passion is more towards music,” Joe explained.
In addition, Joe revealed that his son is a very active person. Besides having a passion for music, Gege also ventures into the culinary field.
“He creates YouTube channels and culinary businesses. So, after school, college, he's always busy. But we also often shoot together,” he continued.
However, among many moments, Joe was deeply impressed by the moment of chatting with Gege. Joe expressed that Gege is someone who is very easy to talk to, especially when discussing motorcycles.
"When we ride motorcycles together, he always has stories that sometimes don't make sense," he said.
Joe's wife also expressed the same sentiment. She admitted that she feels a great loss because Gege was someone who was very close to them and was like a friend to both of her parents.
