Husband of Audy Marissa Tells Story About Baby Shower Before Premature Delivery

Kapanlagi.com - Artist Audi Marissa has just announced the birth of her first child at RSIA Bina Medika Bintaro on Wednesday (7/4/2021). Audi gave birth to a premature baby boy named Anzel Maverick Xie.

1. Premature

Audi Marissa's husband, Anthony Xie, said that Anzel Maverick Xie was born prematurely weighing 1600 grams. Upon seeing Anzel, Anthony said that their baby resembles both the father and mother.

"Look, he's so small. I've seen his nose, it looks like Audy's and mine too, so it's similar. Right now, he may not look like other babies, but what I see is that he's very small," said Anthony Xie at RSIA Bina Medika Bintaro on Wednesday (7/4/2021).

"Weighing 1600 grams, while a normal baby should weigh around 2200. So we have to meet that intake for 2200 or more. The doctor said his breathing is good, really good," he added.

2. Not Able to Bring Home

Of course, the presence of Anzel Maverick makes Audi Marissa and Anthony feel happy. "We're really happy as long as the baby is healthy, whether it's a boy or a girl," they said.

Until now, Audi and their baby are still in the hospital. According to Anthony, their child cannot be brought home quickly because they still need more treatment from the doctor.

"For now, we will continue to take care of Audy because premature babies cannot be brought home quickly. There are conditions that need to be met, such as nutrition. It's not possible to bring them home in that condition, and besides, my work makes it really difficult," they said.

3. Baby Shower

Actually, Audi Marissa and Anthony Xie planned to have a baby shower before the birth of their child. A baby shower is a celebration to welcome the arrival of the unborn baby. In Indonesian culture, this celebration is similar to the tradition of the seventh month.

"Yes, initially we were planning to have a gender reveal party on April 11. But now that we know the gender and the name, we had to cancel the event," Anthony concluded.
