Actress Asri Welas brings good news about the development of her second son, Rayyan Gibran Ridha Rahardja or Ibam. After undergoing various treatment efforts, Ibran's health condition is now showing very significant improvement.
Ibran recently underwent a brain mapping procedure to closely monitor the condition of his brain cells. This examination is very important to understand the child's psychological development and to detect the potential for certain developmental disorders in Ibran.
"Yesterday we checked his head to learn about his brain cells, it's called brain mapping. Brain mapping from a psychological perspective. The reference is whether he has a syndrome, or how much percent autistic. His development is really good," said Asri Welas at Warung Buncit, South Jakarta, Tuesday (17/3/2026).
In addition to the medical results, Asri also feels positive changes in Ibran's daily attitude and emotions. Ibran is now said to be more active in interacting at school and is able to respond to his surroundings very well compared to before.
"His development is really good, Ibran's willingness and emotions at school, his interactions are already good. His responses are now good, his eyes can also catch and follow," she explained.
Although his vision still needs to be assisted with quite thick glasses, Asri remains grateful because Ibran's cognitive abilities continue to improve. Ibran is now at a mid-development stage which is considered very good for his condition.
Asri Welas emphasizes that she does not consider herself the greatest mother. For her, everything she does is a form of obligation as a parent in accompanying her children to achieve healing and a brighter future.
"I don't feel great, I'm still learning. Hopefully, everything I love in this world, including my children, will come true," concluded Asri Welas.
After her divorce from her husband, Asri is now raising her three children alone. Nevertheless, her ex-husband still takes responsibility for their children, even though they live separately.
