Idap Bipolar Since 2016, Medina Zein Admits Using Drugs with Doctor's Permission as Sedatives and for Healing

Kapanlagi.com - When leaving the Jakarta Metro Police today, Friday, (3/1), Medina admitted regretting being involved with drugs. She also thanked the Police for making her realize that using drugs is a mistake.

"I would like to thank the Jakarta Metro Police family, especially the Narcotics Division of the Jakarta Metro Police, Mr. Yusri, Mr. Herry, and the team here for making me realize that drugs are not something good to use, or not for healing.

Medina admits to using sedatives to overcome her bipolar disorder. However, she consumes these medications under the guidance of a doctor.

1. Bipolar Disorder Since 2016

Medina has been suffering from bipolar disorder for almost four years, specifically since 2016. To treat it, Medina consulted with a doctor who then prescribed medications, one of which contains drugs.

"There is indeed one medication that I use with the doctor's permission, it is indeed a certain type of drug, I don't understand, I dare not mention it, you can ask the doctor in question. But it is indeed my medication, my calming medication. I have had bipolar disorder since 2016, but it is genetic. I will not be like this anymore and I am grateful for everything," Medina continued.

2. Not Sad Even Though Not Visited by Husband

While Medina was detained at the Jakarta Metro Police, Lukman Azhari was not in Indonesia. Medina was not sad even though her husband never visited her during her days in detention.

"My husband is currently on Umrah pilgrimage. He originally wanted to come back. But because the plane ticket hasn't arrived, he couldn't make it," she said.
