However, Gisel and MYD still have to fulfill certain requirements set by the officers. According to the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, the decision refers to Article 21 paragraph 1 and paragraph 4 of the Indonesian Criminal Code.

"We did not detain the individuals. The consideration is, according to Article 21 paragraph 1 (Criminal Code), detention can be done if the person destroys evidence, flees, or is uncooperative," said Yusri Yunus.

1. Consider Gisel's Status

In addition, the police also consider Gisel's status as a mother. The child certainly becomes another consideration for the police, therefore Gisel is only required to report twice a week, which is the same as MYD.

"The second one is for sister GA, based on humanity. The child in question is still four years old, in need of guidance from parents, especially the mother, so no detention is carried out," said Yusri.

"But both brother MYD and sister GA, we will require daily reports every Monday and Thursday," he added.

2. Conducting Crime Scene Investigation

Not only that, later the investigators will also conduct a crime scene investigation related to the pornographic video case. The crime scene investigation will be conducted at one of the hotels in Medan, according to Gisella Anastasia's statement.

"Furthermore, our future plan is to conduct a crime scene investigation in Medan and also complete all the necessary evidence. Once everything is complete, we will send the first phase to the Public Prosecutor's Office, hopefully without any obstacles until the resolution," he concluded.
